This app has a tendency to fail when you most need it. For instance, if you preset an alphanumeric password, the button that give you access to the keyboard freezes, sometimes for long periods. The customers service is lousy, too. Very bad investment, this app...

Love this app. Easy to use and safe for sensitive info. Had a support question and got quick customer service. Highly recommend.

Weird message, "database already exists" on first use of app. also personally I wouldnt pay for everything separate. There are great services but other apps do this for free. Would be better if there was a bundle deal. 5-6$ at most though

I use The Vault daily to store and retrieve passwords and sensitive information. I dont know anything about encryption, so I cant comment about that, but the the application works perfectly. Its well thought out.

I have been a Vault user for about 3 years and can easily state that out of the 100 or so apps on my phone, it is the most used and most valuable!!! The support is phenomenal! Quick and thorough!!! I have upgraded to nearly all in-app purchases! Money well spent!!!

Amazing how complete and thorough app is for tracking my passwords, credit card numbers and yes, anything I need to hide. I even keep my health information in here. Templates were added for username/password notes and CC Numbers. I access from all my apple devices, two iPhones and an iPad.

It only allows you to type text. No images or scanned images can be saved into this app. I ll give this one a miss

I just started this whole thing. I took a picture to see where it stores it. I started the artwork option & added to my photo. I was amazed...@ my work ;-). I hit the back button & the whole thing is erased. I zoned out in that pic for over an hour, doing touch ups. I should be able to go back & not worry as to wether or not my info is saved, especially if this thing is supposedly saving all important info, then my artwork Shoulda been EZ 2 bring back up. Not cool.

The vault app is very simple and secure way to storage sensitive information, offers several options to protect information. Each upgrade version makes this app easygoing and trusted.

I have used this app for over a year. Really like it. There is so much you can do with this app in addition to store your passwords. The support is great! I had a problem that they walked me through step by step to resolve.

Great app that I have been happy with for years. Recently had a problem with secure backup not working and received outstanding support almost immediately that fixed the problem. And during the weekend too! Full marks!

You will not find a better text encryption app on this App Store with features like within this app. I downloaded this app a long time ago when it was one of very few actual encryption apps and I have consistently seen high performance and quality updates. This is one of two encryption apps that I trust and have found no alternatives for. I have searched this App Store enough times to know this is it; this has what you need and it does it better than the rest, period.

The app now has the wrong passcode screen it is no longer showing the numerical screen showing the alphabetical one. All my passwords are locked in this program please fix it as soon as possible. Thank you

The app is working great even after a hard restore of my iPhone 4s, and with the backup !

This app is the worst app ever. It locks your screen on your first try to open the app. You have to turned off then turn it back on to start over from your home screen. Its so annoying and not worth download it. Not ever a one star app!!!

5 year user, here. Used to be great. But then it got to be $10 if you want to synch through Dropbox which is insane. MiniKeePass is free and does everything better so paying for this is useless. Dev also forces pop-ups every time an update is published which is annoying. (Updates are frequent but dont add new features). There are free options out the there and theyre more convenient. Finally, after contacting support, three months later, I got a snooty response - to a suggestion. This is probably a mom-and-pop developer but they have some ways to go to catch up to the American standard of quality support.

Not worth your money! The app constantly crashes and you have to pay to retrieve your backup as well as pay $5-10 to be able to sync, send backup via email (share note or share bundle), fees to export/import data. Took me four tries w/ the app crashing just to get the list of in app purchases that arent free! Im asking for my money back!

I like the vault over other password keepers because it has the paranoid option to save database to the phone only as opposed to uploading to the cloud. The developers constantly upgrade features also.

When I saw there was a Mac version I thought great and bought it ($25). Then I bought secure synch in-app purchase on my iPad and my wifes iPad (9.99 each). Well syncing doesnt work at all even when you manually hit the sync button. Totally ripped off and out $45. I wouldnt even write if there was a way to contact the developer. I agree, too many in-app purchases, 1.99 for rich text?!!! What? Refund please.

Paid for the backup feature but it doesnt work. Back up bundle downloads from the server but doesnt upload again to the vault app which makes it worthless. Doesnt load and iTunes either. Support documentation is weak. "just follow the on-screen instructions" is not helpful, there arent any or they are not clear. No way to contact the developer either.
