Giving it 1 star at this time because of a problem with the Mac version. Have used it on my iPhone for a couple of years with no problems. Works great. So, I paid for the app on my Mac. When an update came, soon after, I got a message that The Vault on my Mac was damaged an needed to be deleted. I did so, but then was unable to contact anyone at the company to help re-download it. I carefully typed the address for Support, (several times) which always took me to the page I started from, with no way to post a question or seek support.

Having secured copies of important documents - love it! Getting answers back from customer support on the same day - priceless!

My passwords are complicated. Every time I try to copy the password from my vault app and paste it on a website to sign in, I get this message: "The Vault removed sensitive information from the clipboard." What do you want me to do!??! Write it on a paper instead!??? I am searching for another app that doesnt do this.

This is an update to my August 2014 review. Ive been a user of this app for several yearrs. The app is simple to use and I especially enjoy not being locked into using prescribed templates. I store a lot of data and documents in the Vault and would be lost without the Secure Sync and secure PDF features. Both are in-app purchases but well worth the cost for my needs. I have 3 devices and need them synced at all times. The app is constantly being updated to ensure a quality product. I have contacted the developer/support several times over the years. Each time I received a response in less than24 hours. I have researached other products but none meet my needs like this one.

I was using a previous version of this app. I installed the latest update, and as a result, the notes and data I had previously stored in this app are now gone. Not appreciated.

I have used and loved this app for years. After the Nov. 3, 2015 update, however, it stopped functioning, and I am screwed. When I tried to open the app, it informed me I needed to enter my passcode to reactivate TouchID. No problem, I thought, but when I entered it (yes, I know my passcode and entered it correctly), nothing happened. Multiple attempts and rebooting the phone, etc. have had no effect. Every time I open it, the screen to enter my passcode opens, I type in my passcode, hit Go, and the screen just sits there. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I upgraded to the 6s plus recently and a lot of apps crashed on the new phone that worked fine on the old including native iPhone apps too. So while deleting and redownloading I was glad I remembered this app offers backup options. Then I remembered Im not good at remembering to make emergency backups. So on the down side I had to use a backup that was 3 years old. But on the plus side I realized this has been a necessity app for me for over 3 years. Everything is now caught back up with the updated passwords added and a new backup created. So regardless of any bad reviews you see this is an outstanding app with years of updated features. And the features are great if you want to have them but if you dont the basic app itself without them is perfectly simple and stupid easy to use.

This app stop working after November 3rd update. It keeps asking me to put my passcode and when I do, nothing happens. I loved this app till they really screwed it up with the update . I am feeling the pain of losing about 50 account passwords , if you want to feel my pain go ahead and use it at your own risk.

My husband and I really like this app! Its priced right, has great features, is safe and is a breeze to use. If you have a question, the Vault staff is responsive, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

I paid the 4.99 to import a file from iMessage to the app. It doesnt work. Also I cannot save the file to the phone and import directly from the app. A complete ripoff if you ask me.

I use the theVault extensively and really like the security of hiding all my valuable notes. The support team is very responsive and cares about your concerns.

App is great and works like it is suppose to. But if you purchase ANY of the extras they are ALL treated as "In APP" purchases and they must be purchase for every device that downloads that extra function. Therefore the sync between devices is a total waste of money for $10 because you cannot link between your family shared devices unless you spend an additional $10 for each device with a different Apple Account. In most cases you just need to double the price of the extra function you want in order to use this app the way it was intended. Before I wrote this review I received a reply from The Vault team making it seem like they were doing me a favor in fixing their problem. However, I paid for the secure backup for my device under the assumption that it was good on my family shared devices and it isnt and now the developer is upset at me for his mistake.

This app has a serious problem to sell in the app store. Im using iOS9.2 and this app of version 4.8 always breaks down suddenly. So I cant make a complete composition except the short Id-Pw storings. The designer of this app must update to prevent sudden breakdowns.

Its crashing every time I select a folder. Cannot access my data. Is there any way to revert to previous version?

Yesterday updated on my iPhone 6+. Update went Bad;cant open the app no more. "HELP" pls. (All my: passwords,cCards & other info. No can see; lost.....

Wont load on to the phone. How does this happen?

Really? I need to remember another password just to use it? It will NOT accept my password! I cannot access anything on it. Loved it before the update. Now its threatening to erase all my info! Cant get a response from anyone!

Loved it until the last update. After the update I could not log in with my password. Will not use it again!

Was a great app until the last update. Now I am no longer able to access any of my information without any response from support. Very frustrating.

Ive had The Vault for about 3 years. I bought a few in app purchases but not all. I do not require all of the extras. For what I have purchased, I am quite pleased. I have no problems when synchronizing. The Vault has been a reliable app for me. Updates are all current and the app keeps working for me.
